My DH's current work in progress... The "Jelly Beans Quilt"!

He's making this cheerful beauty for Grammy's upcoming birthday.  She loves his quilts and brags to everyone she knows about him making them and what a wonderful job he does.  He chose this lovely quilt pattern to promote Grammy having a bright & very happy birthday! 

This will be the back & the binding :)

My Mans Queen Size Challenge....

My DH had his first request for a queen size quilt. It proved to be quite a challenge, but worth all the effort since it was so well received. His mother just loved it!!!

The quilting begins.....

So, Jimmy and I were out shopping one day, when I decided to visit our little local fabric store.  The next thing I know, were buying Jimmy all the things he needs to make a quilt.  For the record, he knew how to sew when I met him, as a matter of fact he's the one who gave me a refresher course in sewing :)
