A gift for his Mother In Law :)

The quilting begins.....

So, Jimmy and I were out shopping one day, when I decided to visit our little local fabric store.  The next thing I know, were buying Jimmy all the things he needs to make a quilt.  For the record, he knew how to sew when I met him, as a matter of fact he's the one who gave me a refresher course in sewing :)

Here's some pic's of his very first quilt. He did such a great job and of course I got to keep this one. Hope you like it!

Here are some great pieces, that my dh has made in the past....



He's very talented with the scroll-saw.  It's funny, because years ago, when I was feeling kinda crafty :) Jimmy suggested that I try scroll sawing, I agreed, tried it once and that was the end of that, for me anyway. Next thing you know Jimmy had the scroll-saw bug and off he went.

 

It all started with a desire to create and a simple piece of wood!
